Our club facilitated an incredible card making day at the
West End Seniors Network, Barclay Manor. This event was taken on by the English Bay Starbucks (Michael Christie, Manager), who brought in an entire team of co-workers and his District Manager! Michael is dedicated to making a difference in the community and will again partner with us for another event with our seniors. Bette and Guida helped this event be successful. There were 6 volunteers from Starbucks and 2 from Rotary with a dozen or more seniors participating. These events are often the only opportunity for our seniors to make something special for those around them. The cards made were so creative especially with the help of the volunteers!
