Hippo Water Roller

 

The hippo roller project is an international initiative sponsored by a number of Rotary Clubs. The hippo water roller makes it easier for women and children in drought stricken areas to transport water. In some areas, women and children must walk large distances (sometimes miles) each day to get water. The hippo roller is a rotating plastic water barrel attached to a handle. Our Club has provided funding for hippo rollers.
