Our History

 

The Rotary Club of Vancouver Yaletown (Club #80512) was founded in October 2008. It was developed with a new type of format, as an after work, non-meal club. Since its inception, the club has been actively involved in a variety of activities and events in the community and internationally.

 

In 2016, we were recognized as the District 5040 Club of the Year.

 

In October 2018, we celebrated our club's 10 year anniversary with chartered members and new members in attendance.

 

In 2021-2022 and 2022-2023, we were awarded the Rotary Citation for achieving goals that strengthen Rotary and our club. Goals include increasing club membership, developing sustainable service projects, giving to The Rotary Foundation, and building awareness of Rotary in the community.
