Welcome John Chan

Welcome to new club member John Chan.  John immigrated from Hong Kong to Canada and attended UBC/Sauder School of Business (Finance).  In 2011 he was introduced to Rotary and joined the Vanc South Club.  John has worked in banks and now works at FS Financial Strategies. Their corporate philosophy is to help everyday people with their finances.  The firm has been using a new way to fundraise through its 'Mission of Care Program' about five years ago.  An invitation is made to attend their office for a brief coffee meeting and FS makes a $100 donation to a charity of the person's choice.  FS has offices in BC and Alberta and is growing.  John is also active with Toastmasters and Meetup.  He likes music and plays a number of instruments.
