On the 24th of March Antonio Souza, a visiting Rotarian from Brazil gave us a most interesting presentation on his club.

We have had the pleasure of Antonio Souza's presence during the past month at your regular meetings.  Antonio has been staying in Vancouver while attending a language school to improve his English.  He spoke to us about his Rotary club in Itapecerica, a city of about 20,000 inhabitants whose Rotary club was chartered in December of 1969 and Antonio is one of its past presidents.

A young Brazilian Rotaract member, Rinaldo, joined us to act as translator but his services were not really necessary as Antonio's English is more than adequate.

We wish Antonio a safe journey home and look forward to staying connected.

The attached photo is of Rinaldo, Antonio and past president of Yaletown Rotary, Neil.
