We were honored to have Dr. Marina Roma-March of T.W.E.C.S. Canada to be our meeting's guest speaker. Since 1995, TWECS teams travel to developing countries and provide basic eye care and distribute recycled eyeglasses to the poor. To date, the Society restored vision to over 80,000 underprivileged people in the Third World. Our Rotary Club has collected over 200 pairs of glasses currently, to be delivered to TWECS together with other Rotary Clubs at the 2020 Vision Rotary District Conference in April.
