A rewarding experience and amazing community´s participation during the Earth Day Celebration at Everett Crowley Park in Vancouver, BC on April 21th, 2012. Joy, fun, recreation, nature contact, excercise, health and much more encouraged people to contribute to save our mother Earth.
The Rotary Club of Vancouver Yaletown joined to Earth Day Volunteers, local community, collaborators and several Organizations to plant 1,000 native trees in one of the conservation areas and parks in Vancouver. It was a sunny and wonderful day where people of different ages participated and contributed to achieve a common goal.
The Earth Day at Everett Crowley Park offered a wide range of free family-oriented fun including professional performers, music, dancing, cultural and ecological exhibits, and very special children's activities.
This annual event is organized by local residents of Champlain Heights community, and is supported by local businesses and the City of Vancouver.
