Rotaract at the Pumpkin Patch

Members from the Rotaract Club of Vancouver Yaletown joined Rotarians at Seymour Elementary school on Friday, October 28th to help out with the annual Pumpkin Patch. 
It was a magical day for Students from Seymour Elementary school as they went outside to find a pumpkin patch had appeared at their school. The rain didn't seem to dampen anyone's spirits as they selected their favourite pumpkin. Students 
spent the afternoon with Rotaracters and other students carving their pumpkins for Halloween. A special story telling presentation by Rotarian Linda (aka Witch Linda) was a highlight of the event. This was a particularly special occasion for the Rotaracters who helped out, who are from 4 different countries, some experiencing their first Halloween.

The Rotary Club of Vancouver Yaletown has been sponsoring the annual Pumpkin patch at Seymour schoo for 4 years now. It is always a highlight of our year and a great success. Thanks to all who participated.
