For Neil, 'life is a crooked line'

Thanks again to Neil for a fascinating travel adventure through his personal, professional and Rotary lives.  Here are some highlights.  Neil was awarded a medal for heroism for saving a boy in a water accident.  He and his family traveled extensively and he was active in sports.  Those two themes featured prominently in Neil's adult life.  As a Rotary exchange student, Neil traveled to Australia.  He was addicted to education and earned several degrees in education.  He had a number of interesting summer jobs and traveled extensively - France, Africa, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Israel (working on a kabbutz, where his love of gardening 'flowered'), London, Thailand.....!!!!  He enjoys coaching sports teams, including his kids' teams.  Neil has been involved in Rotary since 1998 (Liongate Club) and was instrumental in starting an Interact Club.  He joined FDU in 2007 and is the Director, Enrolment and Student Services.  He is a member of several committees that deal with private education in BC.  Neil's interests in international affairs, education and service overlap - the makings of a great Rotarian!  Neil is a Past President and Charter member of our Club.  Thanks to Neil for sharing his interesting story and his passion for Rotary.
