Japanese, Danish, and Italian Visitors!
Japanese visitors and visiting Rotarian (and wife) from Denmark, plus guests from Italy: a busy fun meeting!
Also, who would've thought that beer goes well with origami making?
A lively time was had at the Central City Brew Pub with special guests from Kuwana, Japan, in Vancouver for a week seeing the sights. These guests are not Rotarians but know about Rotary's projects and we have a contact at the Kuwana North RC. After they made a presentation, and Neil explained our Suswa Water Harvesting Project, we all ate, drank, chatted, and some Yaletowners are now expert in origami techniques. A visiting Rotarian from the Fredericia Rotary Klub in Denmark also supported us with a donation to our project.
