Entrepreneurs assist students

Thanks again to Dominic for telling us about the Global Student Entrepreneur Award.  His group is one of 160 chapters in the world that develop their own learning skills, while also assisting students to develop entrepreneurial skills.  The groups hold local and annual competitions (only 3 BC applicants last year, one of whom was awarded second place) where students are awarded cash and other prizes.  Some of the student business ideas:  mobile car wash, Share Shed (BC fellow who shares sports equipment), wind turbines on mud huts to allow girls to read, clothing in El Salvador, etc.   Students must be attending university, in an undergraduate program, and have at least $500 in revenue from their business.  This years' cutoff is Nov 24.  Go to the website www.gsea.org for more information.
