The Yaletown Business Improvement Association is proud to announce the 8th annual free outdoor Christmas festival – CandyTown. Last year (2018), an estimated 15,000 people came out to Candytown to kick off the holidays.

Downtown Vancouver’s only free winter festival will transform Mainland, Hamilton and Davie streets into a winter wonderland. Lights and candy canes will adorn lamp poles and costumed characters will parade down the street. Holiday shoppers are invited to start their seasonal gift buying in Yaletown with local merchants as well as a specialty market carrying unique gifts and holiday treats. Stilt walkers and roaming holiday characters will interact with revellers, to the wonderment of tots – while live music and carolling will set the stage for Yuletide cheer.

This year, CandyTown is bringing back the self-guided Cocktail Tour for visitors aged 19+ who are searching for a tavern to enjoy seasonal menus, drinks and be merry by the spirit of the festival! Enjoy special concoction crafted in the spirit of CandyTown, where you won’t find anywhere else but in Yaletown on November 30.

This outdoor Christmas festival is free, open to the public and sure to get people into the Christmas spirit.

FEATURED ACTIVITIES: 12 PM – 7 PM

The Rotary Club of Vancouver Yaletown organizes a booth for sale of Christmas trees, ornaments, popcorn, treats, and refreshments.
