US FLAG FINDS NEW HOME WITH ROCKAWAY ROTARY

At the club meeting on November 4th, Sam Saporite, 2nd Vice President of the Borough of Rockaway Historical Committee, presented to the Rotary Club of the Rockaways an United States Flag that had been previously displayed for many years in the PNC Bank located in the borough. The PNC branch had recently closed and Sam was able to secure the two flags that had been on display, giving them new homes with our club and the Rockaway Borough Museum.
