Newark NJ Rotarian member Michael Penders recently coordinates in Rome with Ukrainian & Italian counterparts for Ukrainian relief efforts.
Our Newark Rotarian, Michael Penders, is in Rome coordination relief efforts for Ukrainian civilians who have been displaced by the ravages and ongoing attacks by Russian forces. He is also meeting with local Rotary Club in Ukraine with their efforts of relief. He is also piloting other humanitarian programs such as a student exchange with US and Ukrainian students to meet in Rome where he is also a professor.
