Last week we had the privilege of hosting Neil Henry and Frank Cioppettini, the Mayors of Mendham Borough and Mendham Township, respectively, as our guest speakers. The Mayors touched on several local issues related to taxes, services, and schools. Their talks were very informative, especially for those of us who live in the Mendhams.

The Meeting was taped by Mendham TV and should be the subject of an upcoming show. Also, coming soon on Mendham TV is a 1/2 hr program on our recent Antiques Show.

Walkfest 2011 -- Rotary District 7470
The Walk takes place on Sunday, May 1st. Monies collected support RI's efforts to eradicate Polio. This event is also a "mini" fundraiser as half of the money collected for this Walk goes back to each Club. As in previous years I will be walking this year and would appreciate your support. At next week's meeting, April 20, I will have a sign-up form with me. If you are unable to be at the next couple of meetings and would like to support me please write out your check to Walkfest Rotary District 7470 and mail to Rotary Club of the Mendhams, PO Box 312, Mendham, NJ 07945. All money needs to be to me by April 27th.

As you know by now, Fred Vance is on the DL with a back injury. He will be having back surgery on the 21st. We wish him successful surgery and a quick recovery. Also good wishes for a quick recovery for Bill Burke's mom who recently underwent surgery.
