DG Barry Kroll Visit
On Oct 2nd, DG Barry Kroll, accompanied by AG Ron Kelly visited our club. We enjoyed meeting Barry and Ron.
At the President's Ball, Barry presented all club president's with a gift. Since our Club President Frank Cioppettion could not be at the President's Ball, Barry brought it to our club. The gift is a pair of wine glasses etched with the Rotary International Logo. Barry presented Frank (and our club) with his banner, and Frank (on behalf of the club) presented Barry with our banner.

Barry then address the club (after being introduced by Ron). He spoke about membership, giving some statistics about the number of people leaving Rotary vs. the number of new members joining Rotary. Unfortunately, we have a net loss, but it is small, and hopefully will be overcome. Barry also spoke briefly about reaching out to the "younger crowd" using social media. (Coincidentally, that was our speaker topic the previous week).
