June 24th was our last meeting of the 2014-2015 Rotary Year. The main event at the meeting was to install our officers for the 2015-2016 year. However, before the installation, outgoing President June Cioppettini gave a brief summary of all we did in the past year.  (Click read more to continue)

In addition to many interesting and informative speakers, we participated in several Club and Community events, had several fun social outings, supported many organizations, gave out scholarships, sent students to RYLA, etc. The list is long, so look for a separate post on our website soon. June also thanked each member individually for their specific contributions and gave everyone a small gift.

Harry Pinto then took the podium, and after telling a few jokes (he's become our resident "comedian"), installed our new President, Adrienne Pinto. Harry is so well known for making jokes, that when he asked Adrienne to do a "repeat after me type Oath of Office", her first reaction was "is this a joke?".... But Harry can also be serious and sweet - he bought Adrienne a bouquet of roses. Harry then swore in the remainder of the officers: President Elect Steve Jordan, Secretary & Assistant Secretary Stephanie and Dan Biery, Treasurer Janet Cicariello-Cook, and Past President June Cioppettini. Rounding out the board is our two Directors-at-large Jim Thomas and Dilip Vora. Congratulations to the 2015-2016 Officers and Directors!

Adrienne's first act as President was to present outgoing President June Cioppettini with her President's pin and a gift from the club.

We had one last piece of business to take care of - the 2014-2015 Rotary Year was our Club's 40th Anniversary. We had a cake, cut by our guest Brad Jenkins, Founder of our Club.
