It was a bittersweet night as we wished Travis Strain a heartfelt farewell (but not goodbye) as he leaves the Langley area and our Club for the interior of the Province. The four Rotary Clubs of Langley were well represented for his send off and included a special presentation by District Governor David Lukov in recognition for all he has done. Travis was also presented with a beautiful sculpture from member Brian Lott, a permanent RibFest Langley Bigfoot parking pass (named after him), and gas card to inspire a return trip. Jeff Morfitt, Kellie Reynolds and their daughter Sydney also sent their well wishes and thanks for being so instrumental in making RibFest happen. We will miss you Travis and all you do for Rotary and the community.
