We welcomed BC & Alberta Guide Dogs to our Jan. 11 Club Meeting. Many thanks to Bill Thornton (CEO), Shelley Nash (Volunteer) and Parker (in training with Shelley) for attending and presenting. Bill gave a very informative talk and slide show about their amazing work with vision impairment, severe autism and PTSD training for service dogs. Parker was an especially big hit and we wish him luck graduating. Our Club presented a cheque for $250 to sponsor one of their dogs.
