Women's Day 2017

Without a doubt we are getting better at this the International Women's Day event. We had a few setbacks during the planning stages mainly with Global News as they were changing hands and the people we were after to become keynote speakers kept getting caught up in the politics of it all.

But like an angel from above we received a message that Dean was to be in town and wanted tickets to the event. Well it turned out that Dean received a couple of complimentary tickets as she was to become our speaker for the lunchtime event. I believe that there is a reason for everything and the reason we were unable to get a speaker was so we could have Dean and what a powerful talk she gave. Powerful enough to bring a tear to my eye and complete her talk with a standing ovation. Thank you Dean for doing what you do...

The ambiance of Newlands Chrystal Room the Lunch and table setting made for a wonderful day. Next year... well wait and see.
