The Future of Rotary

The Future of Rotary was the subject of this weeks speaker and what a first class subject it was. Leaving you with a food for thought feeling after he finished. Membership is a growing wave of decline for a lot of service clubs, not just Rotary. The presenter was Gary Hollick a Past District Governor of District 5050. I first heard this talk at the District Assembly, and what we heard today was a condensed format of the same talk. Without going into the full details of the talk, what he stressed was the need to think about the club in the same way as running a business. The members are your customers and the podium is your store front. What do we offer new members and what do they think of us when they leave the meeting. Definitely a subject for next years board to ponder. In the meantime thanks Gary for your presentation, hope to see you again soon.
