Ted Schaffer

It was nice to see Mayor Ted Schaffer at our club this past week. The Mayor gave a rundown as to what's happening in the city and mentioned the financial position as being one of debt free. Not many cities can boast that qualification. Ted also mentioned the new Timms Community Centre was on track and on budget. Also worth mentioning that the city was to receive Provincial funding for the 203rd street corridor. Seems like he is doing a good job as well as being a nice guy.

Tim Lounsbury complained about the new Tim Hortons on the corner of 203 and Douglas Crs. Something about the waistline and the tough job of passing without stopping. Sounds like you need a route change Tim ....
