The Ribfest event had a section of area cordoned off to hold the Kid's Zone. The organizers, as part of the package, held a coloring contest for various age groups. Susan Galick who owns an Art Gallery in Fort Langley and her granddaughter Isabelle were the judges of the contest.
The winners were, Asuka Dolynny, age 5, who attends James Kennedy, French Immersion School. Along with Taylor Lefebvere, age 11, who attends Betty Gilbert Middle School in Aldergrove.
Both children agreed the Ribs were the best Ribs in all the world.
