The Mayor of Langley City, Nathan Pachal (pronounced Pa-Hall) was gracious enough to honor us by speaking at our Wednesday, October 4 meeting of the Rotary Club of Langley Central. It was a great experience to get to know the Mayor personally and have him talk about how he got into politics (influenced by Rotarian Rudy Storteboom of the Langley Club). He also spent a good amount of time helping us understand his initiatives as well as some of the challenges his administration faces that are not unique to Langley. Members asked a wide variety of questions that the Mayor answered in detail. Langley City is in good hands with Mayor Pachal and we thank him for his time as well as the support for our RibFest event by the City.
