Economic indicators in Zimbabwe—prices of basic commodities rise 10% each month. Operating costs of the hospital are skyrocketing.
All government ministry of health posts have been frozen in such that, if we were to discipline an indolent employee with dismissal, we would not be able to replace him or her with government funding. With no operating grant to start 2012, the cupboards are bare, the worst we have seen in 16 years of ministry.”

The focus of the four club collaboration in 2012 is the Howard Mission Hospital in rural Zimbabwe. Working together we will provide $105,000 worth of medical equipment.
This hospital serves more than 270,000 people, mostly subsistence farmers, many of whom undergo treatment for TB and HIV. The Mother to Child Transmission program saves many lives, orphaned and vulnerable children are supported. Clinical and community services help thousands.
