Installation Night

A perfect day, and a perfect evening for Guy and Dorothy to exchange the leadership of the club. The ceremony was performed by two of our charter members Ron Butcher and John Piskoriik, an ideal choice for the event. The ladies if I may say so, looked extra lovely in the hats they wore, a touch of Ascot brought to Langley for one evening in summer.

A couple of Bowlers and a Top Hat brought some gasps of surprise from the members but only because they looked cool, well that is my story and I'm sticking to it. Have to say there is always a touch of sadness and anticipation on this special occasion, the parting of one president leaving only his legacy to the club, and on the other, the anticipation of a new year. What memories will this time next year bring.

To Dorothy we all wish you a successful year ahead, the support will be there right next to you. If I have one bit of advice ..... don't sweat the small stuff ... as it's all small stuff....
