Inductions

This week we had the honor of inducting a new member by the  name of John Meagher. John came from another club to join us and already we have seen he is a bit of a character. His profile says he likes golf, in that case he will fit right in. He also likes to read novels, maybe that includes the latest Rotarian.
Welcome aboard John, now we have to find you a committee to sit on, right Terry.

 

Last week we inducted two members. Ryan McAdams and Bill Robson. Let’s start with Ryan. Ryan lives in Pitt Meadows and holds the position of publisher of the Langley Advance. No doubt he will be checking my grammar and sentence structure along with my commas and periods; but that’s okay I still like him. Have to find more about him before I can talk about him, however, welcome aboard Ryan pleased to know you.

 

The other guy we inducted was Bill Robson, what can I say about Bill. Well to begin with Bill and I probably passed each other in the High Street when we lived in the UK. Found out we lived about 15 to 20 miles from each other. Small world indeed. Most of you know that Bill is to be our District Governor in a couple of years, and we already know a bit about him as he was our Speaker last week. His talk embraced the last GSE Team to new Zealand.  It’s been a good year for new members and more to come from what I hear.
