Chamber of Commerce

A young lady by the name of Colleen Clark payed us a visit today as our speaker for the day. Colleen reminded us of the services the Chamber offers to its members in the way of discounts on certain business programs. Colleen also told us what they do as business advocates for the community, a union so to speak for the businesses in the area.

To complete the afternoon the club made two donations to worth-while organizations. First to The Langley School Foundation we presented a check in the amount of $4000 to support the Richard Bulpitt School Playground, followed by a presentation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley a check in the amount of $3371.00, an odd amount but there must be a reason. Perhaps we ran out of money...

A good meeting, informative and rewarding to know we are doing good out there in the world. At least that's what this man says.
