A Celebration BBQ

We have a BBQ  coming up this week end at the home of Wayne Leach. This get together is to celebrate the success of the Liberia Project, a co-operative project between the Cumberland Club and Langley Central. Spearheaded by our fellow Rotarian Terry Smith. This project started in my year, 2010/2011, with trips to find working partners within the Vision Project. The first trip started with the Tsawwassen Rotary Club which didn't work out, and ended with the Cumberland Club offering support. It has been a hard road for thos involved in the project, but a feeling of great satisfaction must be on their minds as they celeabrate a BBQ with friends from the Island.
