ARES is an acronym for the African Ruggedized Education System and a solution for the problem of education in rural communities with minimal resources. About The ARES Project | Rotary Club of North Delta (clubrunner.ca)

RES has educational resources from pre-school to post-grad, including thousands of video tutorials and books, the entire Khan Academy curriculum, STEM resources, over 300 TED Talks and the massive educational Wikipedia library.  

ARES also has agricultural guides and medical reference material to serve as a resources for the entire community. 

Local Immigration Partnerships (LIPs) are funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to develop and implement plans to improve immigrant and refugee settlement and integration. LIPs are community planning tables that include community agencies and institutions representing local government, settlement and community agencies, education, business, parks, recreation and culture, policing, libraries, volunteerism, and others.

Since 2008, LIPs in Canada convene to support community-level research and planning to create more welcoming and inclusive communities where newcomers are connected and have opportunities to participate economically, socially, politically, and culturally. Langley Local Immigration Partnership | (langleylip.ca)
