Each year the Rotary Satellite Club of Langley Central Sunset puts on a Canada Flag rental/installation fundraiser over the summer long-weekends.
The final weekend is:
- Labour Day (September 7)
The cost is $20 for the final weekend!

Q: How Long are the Flags up for?
A: We strive to have them up for 5-7 days for each of the promised weekends. We strive for Wednesday to Wednesday over the weekend. (Canada Day can differ)

Q: What is the cost?
A: The cost is $60 for all 3 weekends. We will reach out each year to see if you want to participate again.

Q: Where do the funds go?
A: The Rotary Satellite Club of Langley Central Sunset (a long name we know) will use these money to fund worthy projects in the Langley community.

Q: When is the last day to order for a weekend?
A: Due to the need to order your flag, we must have your order 2 weeks before the weekend it’s needed.

Q: Can we have it setup on more weekends?
A: Due to logistics of setting up and taking down a large number of flags, we cannot accommodate requests for other weekends. Sorry!

Q: Do you prorate if we miss a weekend?
A: Absolutely! Technically each weekend is $20. If you join the program later in the year and therefore would have missed a weekend, the cost is $20 for each remaining weekend.

Q: Can I have more than 1 flag in my yard?
A: Of course! You can have as many as you want! Or should we say as many as you want to pay for? Each additional flag is also $60.

Q: How do I pay?
A: You can pay by e-transfer (please make sure the name on the account is the same as the name you gave us via the online form) or Credit Card (using our Square site)! You could also write a cheque, but we’ll have to meetup in person for that!

About Us
The Rotary Satellite Club of Langley Central Sunset was created as a time-friendly alternative for professionals wanting to engage in service. We meet monthly on the second Tuesday on each month online on in-person. We try to have one major service event per quarter and one social event at a local pub or restaurant.
Some of our service events/projects have been:
- Wagner Hill's Tree Planting Project (2019)
- Bike Repair/Refurbish/Give Away Project (2022)
- Outdoor Classroom at Glenwood Elementary (2022)
- Annual Warm Clothing Drive-Thru & Drop-Off - Benefiting a local Langley Organization
- Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner in partnership with Brogan's Diner
- Volunteering at the Langley SASSY Awards
- Variety of Painting, Gardening, Street Maintenance projects at Foundry, Encompass and many more.
