District Governor Larry Horton visited Gilbert Rotary Club at a special evening meeting held January 26th at Rudy's Barbeque. Shown here is DG Larry presenting to Gilbert RC President Jim Schermetzler the banner of RI President Jennifer Jones. The logo represents Rotarians meeting around a table to discuss and take action on the seven areas of focus for Rotary. Also present were many members, spouses and friends of both the Gilbert and Queen Creek clubs. Larry's message was find something that needs doing, that will benefit others, then enlist others to help get it done using the tools that Rotary has to offer. DG Larry also previewed the upcoming Cinco de Mayo open house which will take place as part of this year's annual conference to be held May 5th and 6th, 2023, at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel, 100 N 1st St., Phoenix.
