Marsha Stephens, director with the Prairie Oaks Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists, which serves Erath, Hamilton, Comanche and Palo Pinto counties. The Texas Master Naturalist program began over 20 years ago, with sponsorship by Texas Parks & Wildlife Department and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, and our chapter was established in 2017, becoming the 48th chapter in Texas. The mission of the Texas Master Naturalist program is to provide training and support for volunteers who carry out natural resources conservation and education projects.
