The Rotary Club of Los Altos works to improve the lives of youth and families locally and around the world.  It does this through its service, grants to nonprofits, youth scholarships and leadership training, global World Community Service programs, and numerous other charitable activities.

The club formed Los Altos Rotary Endowment Fund (LAREF) as a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit to more effectively run its charitable activities.  Each year, Los Altos Rotary identifies and funds charitable grants, scholarships, and local and global programs that are in line with the club’s goals.  The charitable funds come from your donations, fundraisers (such as the Fine Art in the Park show), and annual earnings from the Impact Fund.

Your tax-deductible donation to the LAREF makes a difference in supporting the club’s charitable activities.  You can donate to:
  • A club program or project (see below).
  • To LAREF’s Impact Fund.  By doing this, you will increase the corpus of the fund which generates investment earnings that are used for the club’s charitable and service projects.
