Rotary honors six women for leadership and humanitarian service
Rotary President K.R. Ravindran has named six Rotary Global Women of Action for 2015. The honorees were chosen for their dedication and service, which has improved the lives of thousands around the world. “Every day at Rotary I see firsthand how our members work to change lives and make a significant impact,” said Ravindran. “Rotary’s Global Women of Action embody Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self.” The women will be honored at Rotary Day at the United Nations in New York City on 7 November. Bringing education to rural Mexican area, one school at a time
When Mariana Day moved in 1989 to the small beach town of Chacala, in Nayarit, Mexico, she noticed that the surrounding rural areas struggled to maintain schools. And most children weren’t able to go beyond an eighth-grade education. Day, who is a member of the Rotary Club of Bahía de Jaltemba-La Peñita, in Nayarit, had started a local scholarship program before she joined Rotary. Meals on Wheels need kitchen grunts

We have, again, an opportunity to participate in a hands-on project preparing food for the Meals on Wheels organization.

Meals on Wheels prepare for 200-400 meals each weekday by chopping, peeling, dishing and packaging food, washing, baking and more.

Golfing In Winter Opportunity

It is that time of year again - Holidays and the Rotary Canadian - American Golf Challenge!! The Challenge is scheduled for January 16, 2016 at Gold Canyon Golf Resort's fantastic Dinosaur Mountain course, 6100 S. Kings Ranch Rd., in Gold Canyon. Proceeds from the tournament go to local youth programs and scholarships in the area.

This tournament is like no other. It is the 2nd Annual Canadian/American Two – Person Ryder Cup Format.

We look forward to your participation! Attached for your information and review, are complete details regarding the event and registration. No need to worry. ClubRunner secures all your private information using the latest security technologies.

Private information is secured using 128-bit encryption, and all access requires unique logins and passwords. Access to information is also restricted, for example, a member can only see a list of membership in his or her club, and his or her own personal information.
