Jennifer Wucherer, St Cloud Age-Friendly Community Co-Chair

Jennifer has served in the field of aging since 2000, primarily through her work with the Greater St. Cloud RSVP, a program sponsored by the City of St. Cloud and funded by AmeriCorps Seniors.  Jennifer promotes healthy aging by engaging adults age 55+ in volunteer service with organizations dedicated to helping others throughout Stearns, Benton, Sherburne and Wright Counties.  Jennifer currently serves as the Age-Friendly St. Cloud Task Force Co-Chair and the Expo for Seniors Co-Chair.  Previously, Jennifer served in leadership positions for the Aging Network Association and the St Cloud Area Volunteer Administrator Association.   In her free time, she volunteers for the St. Cloud Youth Hockey Association and can be found cheering on her three boys at a hockey, football and soccer game or at a tennis match.

George Schoephoerster, MD and St Cloud Age-Friendly Community Co-Chair

After practicing full spectrum family medicine for 30 years, he became a full time geriatrician in 2009, joining a group of geriatricians and NP's, who practice with a focus on improving the quality of care that they provide for nursing residents.  He retired in December 2021 and continues as a Medical Director in 4 nursing homes in central Minnesota.  He is interested in health care reform, with a special focus on improving the value of care provided to Minnesota seniors through a holistic approach to chronic disease management and end of life care.  He is involved with several volunteer activities that attempt to improve aspects of the social determinants of health for seniors, including co-chairing the Age-Friendly Community St. Cloud Task Force.
