Washington Rotary Grant Project 2018

The Washington Rotary Club is proud to showcase the works accomplished in our community using grants awarded by the Rotary District.

 
 
The Rotary Club (of Washington) receives (received) a Rotary District Grant to support community efforts (in the Washington area).  Along with the skills and talents of members, our club used these funds for Arc (ARC) Camp Warren of the Warren County Chapter located in Columbia, NJ., to complete the following:
  • Build & install a four-person accessible picnic table
  • Repair a swing bench 
  • Replaced the (large) deck (flooring) on Bernadette’s Bungalow
  • Power wash Bernadette’s Bungalow and the Rotary Cabin to a sparkling white
  • We purchased an air conditioner for the Rotary Cabin. The cabin is used by the Camp nurse, who manages medications for campers in addition to providing care
  • The deck and railings at the Rotary Cabin were stained/sealed.
It is with great pride that our club members volunteer to (support the important work of the ARC in Warren County.)  We are grateful to the (Rotary Foundation and our) Rotary District (7475) for supporting these projects that help bring members together.
