FABULOUS FEBRUARY! Rotary started in February of 1905, so this month it is 121 years old!
 FEBRUARY SPEAKERS Be sure to join us to find out from Zoe Wang about the Chinese Calendar. Each person at the in-person meeting will get a copy of the Calendar for your use. Jenna Buscemi, our District Rotaract Chair will be updating us on everything you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask about Rotaract.. We are interested to hear what Andrea Flores has come to the US to talk about. FEBRUARY SERVICE PROJECT Our Millennials President and Club member, Ivan, has put together an Eyeglass Project for the SW Public School here in Sharpstown. Dr James Troutman of the SW School has visited with us. We will collaborate with Lions Clubs who do this regularly and get some District and other Club participation. Initial exams were postponed due to the freeze... Our Club and possibly some SHS Interactors need to volunteer a few hours for this project once it's rescheduled. FEBRUARY SOCIAL EVENTSIt is our intention to offer at least one social event per month for those who cannot attend lunches regularly. There is a Multi-club Happy Hour on the 10th. We have a table of 10 reserved for the ALL-CLUB District Event which will be on Thursday, the 19th at Safari Texas. See Karen to reserve your spot at this event focused on Polio Plus. JP is working on a group rate for the Asiatown Tour for the Lunar New Year. Violet is scheduling our Holocaust Museum Tour for later this spring.
