INTERNATIONAL SERVICE!
This August 9th we will be having our International Project - providing a Texas BBQ for the high school kids and their chaperones from Jerusalem PeaceBuilders. The JPB is an extraordinary program (https://www.jerusalempeacebuilders.org) with training teachers and then teaching high school youths about peace. The best of the kids who just finished their Freshman year in Jerusalem will be in Texas for 2 weeks studying Peace and building relationships across faith boundaries. The luncheon we provide is both Halal and Kosher and includes lots of veggies. We share about Rotary and give them a copy of the Rotary 4-Way Test to take home. Most are amazed that humanitarian programs are done by an organization that is not faith-based or political. I hope that YOU can attend to be inspired!
