Jumping JUNE continues the MEMBERSHIP MOMENTUM
The Sharpstown Club is setting records with continuing outstanding growth! Already added to our Rotary family this month is Ruby who has transferred from an E-Club. She has an outstanding record as a Rotarian in previous Clubs and is currently working on her Doctorate here in Houston.  VISION FOR KIDS |
The Eyeglasses Project, “Vision for Kids,” is making an impact again this month—bringing clarity, confidence, and opportunity to young lives right here in Sharpstown. Led by our passionate Millennials President and dedicated Club member, Ivan, this initiative serves students at Southwest Public School, helping ensure that vision challenges don’t stand in the way of learning and success. We are now adding a few First Graders from Neff Early Learning Center to the Program. With Optometrist Dr Donna Jaszkowski of Sharpstown Vision Center and experienced Lions Clubs and the support of our District 5890, this project reflects the very best of service in action—neighbors coming together to lift up the next generation.

FLAGS for the COMMUNITY!
Have you driven down Bellaire Blvd? We’re proud to have provided the 125 American flags which now are outnumbered by the flags of the 48 countries playing in the FIFA World Cup! Thanks to the Southwest Management District for this honor. And special appreciation to Richard Lazear who has been of great assistance in getting the flags assembled. Our flags will stay up through LibertyFest and Independence Day along with the Soccer flags. And we are hosting SOCCER WATCH PARTY at our meeting on the 23rd. Rotarians from around the District will join us for this special event.
In Memorium: Kenneth P Marsh (June 9, 1950 - May 21, 2026) 
Ken was a valued member of Rotary since 1997. He was President of the Sharpstown Club 3 times and served in many capacities. He was the District RYLA Chair for several years.
Ken had traveled the world for Carnegie and lived what he spoke. His book, Fearless Networking was a testament to his way of life.
Ken is survived by his devoted wife, Sabrina and daughter Jtaime and a large family. A man of God, an optimist and a person of kindness and good cheer, he will be missed by all who knew him.
