Sharpstown Rotary is Roping 'em in! We have added 2 new Members in February, Yuming and Jamie, both sponsored by JP! WELCOME ROTARIANS! And we Inducted several students into the Interact Club in Sharpstown High School as well as Installing their 4 Officers. CONGRATULATIONS INTERACTORS! We had our flags there to let them know about sharing in our Flag Program Several attended the District All-Club Celebration and learned more about the Polio Eradication effort.

You will be proud of our District Governor Nominee Designate, Wayne Beaumier, with his Disaster Aid experiences. Kristen Leach will let us know about her work with kids in Houston. We will all benefit from Joe Woolsey letting us know about “the Most Essential Molecule for a Long, Healthy life!”
MARCH SERVICE PROJECT
Our Millennials President and Club member, Ivan, has put together an Eyeglass Project for the SW Public School here in Sharpstown. Dr James Troutman of the SW School visited us. We will collaborate with Lions Clubs who do this regularly and get some District and other Club participation. Initial exams were postponed due to the freeze... Our Club and possibly some SHS Interactors need to volunteer a few hours for this project on Saturday, the 21st.
MARCH SOCIAL EVENTS
It is our intention to offer at least one social event per month for those who cannot attend lunches regularly. Violet is scheduling our Holocaust Museum Tour for March 28th. After we will go and celebrate Bola’s birthday! We strive to fulfill the #5 test – “Is it Fun?”
