Abe Gallagher

To my Fellow Club Rotarians, and Friends Around the World,
As we begin the 2022-2023 Rotary Year, I am deeply honored to serve as the Club President for the Rotary Club of Seabrook. I am proud to be a part of a club where members are selfless and genuine in the pursuit of “Service Above Self,” and I am excited to embark on my journey of leadership with the support of my family and friends, my Club members, my community, and the organization of Rotary.
In my years as a Rotarian, I have learned lessons about the value of serving my community and my world. I have developed trusted friendships and relationships with my fellow Club members and beyond. And perhaps most importantly, I have come to believe that sky is the limit for this Club’s goals and aspirations.
With that said, I find it fitting that RI President Jennifer Jones has selected the Presidential Theme “Imagine Rotary” for this Rotary year. She urges people to dream big and harness their connections and the power of Rotary to turn those dreams into reality. I know that the Rotary Club of Seabrook is up to the challenge, and I am anxious to see the amazing things we accomplish in the months ahead. I am humbled by your belief in my leadership, and I will devote my time, energy, and resources to ensure that together we create lasting change in our world, in our communities, and in ourselves.
We have important work ahead of us at Rotary, so let’s get busy and have some fun while we do it!
Yours in Rotary,
Abe Gallagher
Club President, 2022-2023

What do you call people who come together every week for the expressed purpose of giving back to their community and to mankind some of the blessings they’ve received in life?
ROTARIANS!
The 55+ members of Seabrook Rotary have a marked impact on much of the Clear Lake / Bay Area. We call it Service-Above-Self. And although what we do touches just about everyone, directly or indirectly, not everyone knows about Rotary.
All Rotary Clubs have in common good people who leverage their time, talents and resources in ways that are the envy of any charity. Of the monies raised each year, 100% is targeted toward our projects and programs in four Avenues of Service: Educational & Vocational Initiatives, Community & Humanitarian Initiatives, International Initiatives and what we call New Generations.

Whether you’re just a little curious or think you might be interested in joining Rotary, please accept this invitation to visit at any regularly scheduled meeting. Seabrook Rotary meets at 7am Thursday mornings at the beautiful Lakewood Yacht Club.
