Kandace Trujillo | Battleship Texas Foundation

Kandace Trujillo is the Vice President of Visitation and Special Events at Battleship TEXAS and is employed by the Battleship TEXAS Foundation. The Battleship TEXAS Foundation is a 501 c (3) that operates historic Battleship TEXAS. Kandace is responsible for the educational outreach programming, oversees the foundation’s social media and email accounts, operates the donor database and donor relations, and manages the Volunteer program.  Before the ship was closed to the public for renovations, Kandace managed the Overnight Education Program. To date, over 60,000 people have spent the night aboard Battleship Texas. While she was employed with the American Undersea Warfare Center, she helped develop their education department, implemented some of their first education programs, and grew their overnight program. She has a B.A. in History and M.A. in Museum Science from Texas Tech University.
