In September, Charlie Buscemi, past president of the Kingwood Rotary Club, traveled with members of Rotary clubs in the greater Houston area that partnered to help the residents of Matamoros, Mexico. At most organizations, they accept donations, but in Rotary we build connections and partnerships with Rotary clubs in other countries that we work with to serve others.
Kingwood Rotary donated over 500 used school uniforms to schools in Matamoros. Special thanks to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School for their very generous donation.
