Membership Recruitment and Retention

Derrill Painter, District 5890 Area Membership Chair, is challenging Rotarians to recruit and retain members.
Mr. Painter is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
He has been employed with TapcoEnpro International, a manufacturing company in East Houston, for 34 years. As a Senior Manager, Mr. Painter has overseen the company's environmental, health and safety, and human resource initiatives.
He is a 17 year member of the North Shore Rotary Club. He has chaired multiple committees, served in multiple officer roles (including president), and has been honored as Rotarian of the Year in the North Shore Rotary Club. He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow.
Mr. Painter asserts that Rotary's vitality depends on recruiting, training, challenging, and retaining members.
