A very special meeting January 23, 2018, saw four new members join the Galena Park/Jacinto Rotary Club. The club recently changed it's meeting days from Wednesdays to Tuesdays to facilitate attendance and it is already paying dividends. For over 50 years the club had met every Wednesday but beginning in November, 2016, the club changed to meeting on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month. This meeting had to be postponed for a week due to Houston being closed down by Winter Storm Inga.
