Today, Gordon Sorrel, with Leon and Janet Macha, discussed the Wharton County Community Foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to improve the quality of life for the people of Wharton County. It is a Donor Advised Fund that administers a number of scholarships in Wharton County. Leon and Janet discussed the scholarship they established, the Vocational and Technical Training Scholarship.
