For the past six years, Deer Park Rotary 5890 has had only a single fundraiser called "Bubba Bingo". On May 1, 2026, it was held in the City of Deer Park's new Jimmy Burke Activity Center (JBAC). No longer were there two separate rooms divided by a wall, the new JBAC is all one ballroom which held that night around 1,200-1,300 people and we exceeded our expectations on money raised. Message from Mr. Bubba Bingo Justin League:
It’s taken me a week to post this. I was waiting on pictures, final numbers, but also mainly because I don’t know what to say that will capture my true feelings and heartfelt appreciation.
I would love to personally thank so many individuals, companies, sponsors, volunteers, cooking team members, JBAC staff, etc but there are too many and there’s no way I can even remember them all. To everyone involved no matter what you do to contribute, THANK YOU. This event is what it is because of all of you.
How about that new JBAC ladies n gents? Is it not a fantastic facility. Everyone in one huge room. I’m proud to call Deer Park home and serve our citizens.
Last year I posted that there are not a lot of $100k fundraisers and that Bubba Bingo had surpassed $200k. Profit of $183k last year.
Our goal this year was to profit $200k. Well folks, we blew past that. We brought in almost $275k!!! After expenses we should clear between $225-$230k!
I say it after every year, I don't know how we are gonna beat this year.
So, with that being said start saving your dollars because we will see you next March!
