March 25, 2026 - Deer Park Rotary helped sponsor the annual Student Government Day in coordination with City of Deer Park and Deer Park ISD.
This program brings together juniors and seniors to learn about the inner workings of local city government. This year there was 21 students that shadowed all of the council members and the mayor plus all of the directors and the PIO/Marketing manager. The group also visited several cities facilities, with a luncheon at Battleground Golf Course with Deer Park Rotarians and ended with a mock City Council meeting at City Hall.
