Our Monday 13 January Programme:
On Monday 13 January our speaker will be Reg Ash Chief Executive Officer, Western Fair District. He was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer on February 13, 2019.

For 150 years, the Western Fair Association has become a progressive leader supporting London and region with programming and facilities that seek to meet the needs of the agriculture sector, provide innovative educational experiences and see that the evolving entertainment and recreational interests of its customers are met.

"Mr. Ash served as the Association’s Chief Administrative Officer for 6 years and within his 18-year career has overseen several business units, as well as Corporate Administration, Finance and Human Resources. His varied experience with and knowledge of the Association’s agriculture, business and community initiatives, plus his dedication and passion for its mandate will bode well for the future of Western Fair District, its employees, members and communities it serves,” said Joe Dales, Past Chair of the Association's governing body.

The Western Fair Association's Board, senior management team and staff have been developing a re-envisioned master site plan and progressive agriculturally focused business strategy to ensure WFD remains valued and relevant in the evolving agriculture, recreation and entertainment industry it helped pioneer.

Rotary News Today

January is Rotary Vocational Service Month
Vocational Service is one of Rotary’s Five Avenues of Service.
Vocational Service calls every Rotarian to:

  • aspire to high ethical standards in their  occupation;

  • recognize the worthiness of all useful occupations, and;

  • contribute their vocational talents to the problems and needs of society.

When professionals join a Rotary club, they do so as a representative of their classification – their particular business or profession. Rotarians have the dual responsibility of representing their vocation within the club and exemplifying the ideals of Rotary within the workplace. During January, Rotarians are encouraged to focus on this important avenue of Rotary service.
